UnitedHealthcare And Tenet Healthcare Corp Renew Network RelationshipMINNETONKA, Minn. —
UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group company (NYSE: UNH), and Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE:THC) have completed a new, three-year agreement providing UnitedHealthcare’s Commercial and Medicare Advantage members with in-network access to Tenet’s 79 hospitals, 193 outpatient centers and more than 1,800 employed physicians throughout the country. The new agreement is effective August 1, 2014.

Today, UnitedHealthcare has more than $30 billion of its total reimbursements to hospitals, physicians and ancillary care nationwide tied to accountable care-related initiatives, and expects to increase that to $65 billion by the end of 2018.
