UnitedHealth Group is innovating and investing in technology to help make health care easier

Healthcare can be hard to navigate — from understanding benefits and costs to finding care, managing prescriptions or getting help with a claim. We are using technology and AI responsibly to make those moments simpler, reduce administrative burden and help people and care teams make more informed decisions guided by human judgment, ethics, compassion and accountability.

Healthcare works better when people can get the right information, support and care more easily. That’s why technology and AI are being used to simplify the moments that matter — helping people find answers faster, understand their options, access benefits, manage claims and get support when they need it. With responsible governance, privacy protections and human oversight, innovation stays focused on better experiences and better health.

When additional help is needed, members can be transferred to an advocate with relevant context included, so they do not have to repeat themselves.
