About Margaret-Mary Wilson, M.D.

Dr. Margaret-Mary Wilson was named executive vice president and chief medical officer of UnitedHealth Group in December 2021. In this role, Wilson advances the company’s clinical innovations and leads efforts to develop a modern, sustainable high-performing health system that addresses critical needs and opportunities to improve health equity, expand access, lower costs and improve outcomes and experiences for patients, payers and providers. 

Wilson joined UnitedHealth Group in 2008 and served as an associate chief medical officer. Before that, she was at UnitedHealthcare Clinical Services and then a chief medical officer for UnitedHealthcare Global, where she ensured a high-performance, high-reliability global clinical care delivery business.
