For the ninth consecutive year, Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service, has included UnitedHealth Group on The Civic 50 as one of the 50 most community-minded companies in the country for its civic engagement in 2019.

Started in 2012, The Civic 50 highlights companies that improve the quality of life in the communities where they do business. Honorees are public and private companies with U.S. operations, selected based on how they score across four categories: investment, integration, institutionalization and impact.
