Employee orientation

If you are having issues adding the meeting invitation to your calendar, please try to drag and drop the file directly into Outlook following these instructions:

• Open your Outlook application 
• Switch to the Calendar view. 
• Locate the downloaded .ics file
• Drag the .ics file directly from your file explorer into your Outlook calendar window 
• Import the file from Outlook's menu

If the drag-and-drop method doesn’t work, you can force Outlook to import the file through its built-in menu. Follow the instructions outlined below or refer to the Microsoft support page if you need more detail or want to watch a video on the topic (follow the steps outlined in the “Import .ivs or .vcs file”).

• Open your Outlook application
• Within the top left corner, click on the file tab 
• Select Open & Export and then click the Import/Export tile
• A popup should appear titled “Import and Export Wizard.” Choose the “Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar (.vcs) file”  option and then click Next. 
• Browse to the location of your downloaded .ics file and select it
