Upon transition, you’ll be eligible for UnitedHealth Group/Optum benefits, which is part of a comprehensive total rewards package that includes compensation, paid time off, health benefits, financial benefits, well-being programs and services, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays and more.
Our benefits are designed to help you and your family live healthier lives, manage your health care costs and support your financial well-being. Getting the most out of your benefits starts with understanding your options. After integration, you can enroll in the benefits you don’t automatically receive.
The following chart shows a snapshot of the benefits we offer and their effective dates. In general, you’re eligible for benefits if you work at least 20 hours per week, although some benefits are available if you work less than 20 hours per week. As long as you enroll during your initial enrollment period, which starts the day after you integrate, you won’t have a gap in coverage.
