Tom Beauregard is executive vice president and chief innovation officer and a member of the core leadership group of Enterprise Research and Development for UnitedHealth Group. Under Beauregard's leadership, Enterprise Research and Development aims to pursue next-generation growth from new initiatives that reimagine the way health care is delivered.
Beauregard has more than 25 years of health care leadership experience. Recent accomplishments include a National Diabetes Prevention Program in partnership with the Y-USA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; an evidence-based childhood obesity solution; and Project NOT ME, a reality TV diabetes prevention program that earned Beauregard a regional Emmy for his role as an executive producer.
Beauregard previously served as the CEO of United Essentials, a UnitedHealthcare business, where he was responsible for research and new product development. In this role, Beauregard's team conducted research and developed programs and products that extend affordable health care coverage to targeted employer and consumer segments, including advanced consumer choice models, value-based incentive models and portable insurance plans. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Beauregard was the national practice leader for Hewitt Associates, a global management consulting firm.
Beauregard is a graduate of Hobart College's economics program and earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
