UnitedHealth Group Named One of America’s 50 Most Community-Minded Companies for Eighth Straight Year

UnitedHealth Group was recognized by The Civic 50 as one of the most community-minded companies in the United States for the eighth consecutive year. Civic 50 honorees are public and private companies with U.S. operations that are selected based on four criteria: investment, integration, institutionalization and impact.

UnitedHealth Group was honored for fostering partnerships that build healthier communities, supporting employees in their efforts to give back, and providing data to drive critical discussions. It has been included in The Civic 50 every year since the initiative began in 2012.

The Civic 50 is an initiative by Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service. It recognizes the 50 most community-minded companies in the United States each year as determined by an annual survey. The Civic 50 also reports best practices to provide a framework for good corporate citizenship.
