About Patricia L. Lewis

Patricia L. Lewis was named executive vice president and chief sustainability officer of UnitedHealth Group in February 2022. The company’s first chief sustainability officer, she is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the enterprise’s ESG strategy, including environmental sustainability goals and UnitedHealth Group’s health equity and diversity, equity and inclusion commitments and initiatives. Lewis previously served as chief human resources officer of UnitedHealth Group.

Before joining the company in 2019, Lewis was senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Lockheed Martin, leading a large global team to deploy a human capital strategy in support of a diverse workforce in more than 50 countries. She has led human capital teams within complex and highly regulated industries, including aerospace, technology and life sciences. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin in 2011, Lewis held various positions in human resources at IBM Corporation and DuPont.
