
UnitedHealth Group Appoints New Vice President of Social Responsibility
Minnetonka, Minn. (June 7, 2010) – UnitedHealth Group
(NYSE: UNH) today announced that Kate Rubin will join the company June
28 as vice president of social responsibility for UnitedHealth Group
and will become executive director of United Health Foundation.
”Kate’s unique combination of business acumen, foundation experience
and leadership skills will continue to advance our social
responsibility efforts and enhance the impact we are making in the
communities where we live, work and do business,” said Jeannine Rivet,
executive vice president of UnitedHealth Group and acting executive
director of United Health Foundation.

grew in revenue and expanded its programs and premier events – the
Tekne Awards and Spring Conference.
Rubin has held positions with Leadership Foundations, Datacard Corp.
and IBM. She has also held board positions with Hubert H. Humphrey
Institute Board of Advisors, Minnesota State Colleges &
Universities Foundation Board and the University St. Thomas Board of
Governors, School of Engineering, among others.
