Rhonda L. Randall, D.O., is the chief medical officer, UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual Retiree Solutions.  Dr. Randall is responsible for conveying UnitedHealthcare’s unique value story to U.S. employers and to our largest retiree customers who are looking for quality, cost-effective, long-term solutions to retiree health benefits.

Dr. Randall is a fellowship-trained geriatrician and is board certified in family practice, as well as hospice and palliative medicine. Dr. Randall received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa., and was recently honored as one of the college’s Alumni of Distinction. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Practice residency as chief resident at Florida Hospital East Orlando and her fellowship in Geriatrics at Florida Hospital Orlando. 

Dr. Randall joined UnitedHealthcare in 2003 and has served in a variety of roles, including state medical director of community programs for Evercare of Florida, then as national medical director of Evercare. In 2008, she joined UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement, first as chief medical officer for the Northeast region and later as national vice president and senior medical director of medical management, as well as dually serving as national medical director of Evercare Hospice and Palliative Care. Most recently, she was the chief medical officer for UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement.
