In March 2007, UnitedHealth Group filed its annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal
year ended 2006, which includes restated financial information for the fiscal years
ended 2004 and 2005 and quarterly financial information for the quarter ended December
31, 2005. The Company also filed in March 2007 an amended quarterly report on Form
10-Q/A for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 and quarterly reports on Form 10-Q for
the quarters ended June 30, 2006 and September 30, 2006, which contain restated
financial information for the first three fiscal quarters of 2005 and the quarter
ended March 31, 2006. Previously filed Form 10-Ks and Form 10-Qs which contain financial
information for the fiscal years ended 1994 to 2005, the interim periods contained
therein, the quarter ended March 31, 2006, and all earnings and press releases (including
for the quarters ended June 30, 2006 and September 30, 2006) and similar communications
issued by the Company for such periods, and the related reports of the Company’s
independent registered public accounting firm have not been amended and should not
be relied upon.
