About the United Health Foundation
Guided by a passion to help people live healthier lives, United Health Foundation (UHF) provides helpful information to support decisions that lead to better health outcomes and healthier communities. The Foundation also supports activities that expand access to quality health care services for those in challenging circumstances and partners with others to improve the well-being of communities.
The United Health Foundation was established by UnitedHealth Group in 1999 as a not-for-profit, private foundation dedicated to improving health and health care. To date, the United Health Foundation has committed more than $285 million to programs and communities around the world. We invite you to learn more about our initiatives and grants.
Through collaboration with community partnerships, grants and outreach efforts, United Health Foundation works to improve our health system, build a diverse and dynamic health workforce and enhance the well-being of local communities.
United Health Foundation shares the same mission and commitment as our sole supporter, UnitedHealth Group, when it comes to helping people live healthier lives. We realize social responsibility begins with us, and every day our employees and community partners strive to discover smarter ways to build healthier communities.
