America's Health Rankings: A Call To Action for Individuals and Their Communities, an annual state-by-state analysis of the nation's health and well-being:
- Of the $2.4 trillion in annual health care spending, three-quarters ($1.8 trillion) goes to the treatment of chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
